The Alternative Fuels & Advanced Vehicles Data Center (AFDC) is a comprehensive clearinghouse of data, publications, tools, & information related to advanced transportation technologies. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities initiative, the AFDC hosts more than 3,000 documents, interactive tools that help fleets & consumers make transportation decisions, & a wealth of information to educate the public on alternative fuels & advanced vehicles.

Green Power Network: Can I Buy Green Power in My State?
The U.S. Department of Energy has a website that allows you to click on a specific state to find out which organizations offer green power in your state. The results will include utility green pricing programs, retail green power products offered in competitive electricity markets, & renewable energy certificate (REC) products sold separate from electricity.

Tax Incentives Assistance Project: Consumers
The Tax Incentives Assistance Project (TIAP) is sponsored by a coalition of public interest nonprofit groups, government agencies, & other organizations in the energy efficiency field. It is designed to give consumers & businesses information they need to make use of the federal income tax incentives for energy efficient products & technologies passed by Congress as part of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 & subsequently amended several times.

Weatherization Assistance Program
The Weatherization Assistance Program enables low-income families to permanently reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient.
